QIGONG - THE ADVANCED STAGE

Qigong Level 6.

 

This program trains you to cultivate, conserve, gather, and circulate internal energy according to seasonal changes and through specific channels in the body.

 

The curriculum of Level 6 consists of:

  • Instruction in The Dragon-Tiger Frolics, a rigorous physical form of qigong designed to align energy channels and centers.
  • Instruction in Chen Xiyi’s Twenty-four Seasonal qigong, a form of qigong that tunes the body’s energy to the seasons and builds immunization to seasonal health hazards.
  • Instruction in absorbing the vapors of the seasons and exchanging energy between the energetic body and the natural world.
  • Instruction in hand gestures (mudras) qigong that are designed to direct energy through the body through specific channels.
  • Instruction in The Wudangshan Seven Star Stances, a form of qigong that is designed to open deep circulatory pathways

Requirements: Levels 1-5 qigong, all five qigong intensives, qigong and meditation retreat, interview, and letter of permission from Eva Wong

No participant is admitted without written permission from Eva Wong

This program is required for Qigong Level 6 Retreats.

Part 1 - The cultivation and transmutation of jing.

  • Talk 1: The Xiantianwujimen approach to the cultivation of jing
  • Talk 2: The Three Treasures - Jing, Qi, Shen
  • Talk 3: The preservation, cultivation, and circulation of generative energy.
  • The Sky, Earth, and Water Realms in the Body
  • The Light of the Moon qigong practices
  • The transmutation of post-celestial jing into pre-celestial jing.

  • Qigong 6

Part 2 - The sacred geometry of the furnace and cauldron.

  • Talk 1: The Meaning of Sacred Geometry
  • Talk 2: The Sacred Geometry of bellows, furnace, and cauldron.
  • Sacred Geometry in the 12 Devas
  • Sacred Geometry in the Immortals’ Guide
  • Sacred Geometry in the Red Phoenix.

Requirement:

Part 3 - The Microcosmic Orbit: The transmutation of jing into qi.

  • Talk 1: Orbit of the Ren and Du meridians
  • Talk 2: Passive and active transmutation of jing into qi.
  • Arousing the inner fire for the transmutation of jing into qi
  • The Firing Schedule
  • Returning the jing to the crown of the head.
